So how do the emo hairstyles for girls differ from the ones for boys? Well, they often don't - the hairstyles could be classified into 6 different groups:
- Mullet Hairstyle
- Long Layered Hair
- Razor Cut
- Highlights
- Bowl cut
- Bob with Fringes
Girls and boys often prefer to wear either brightly coloured headbands or bandanas with dots or skulls on them as well as piercing their lips, ears, nose or other parts of the body always visible which goes will with their emo hairstyles - the role of this is to express their personality to the world and get noticed.
However, the primary role is not to attract as much attention as possible, infact it doesn't have that role at all - the only role as far as I can see is to have fun and feel good 'feel at home' wherever one decides to go.
So if you're a girl or a boy and ponder on getting emo hairstyles be sure to check back on us soon! Soon to add pictures of all styles AND how these hairstyles can be achieved!

Oh emo hairstyles are still rocking the fashion world today! Like what emos said, "Emos are not yet dead!" That's why emo music and styles are still haunting us! Just joking! LOL! Welpz, my sister is certified emo. Usually, her haircut is short razor cut with long bangs. Last week, she had her red highlights at Santa Monica hair salons. For me, her hairstyle now is truly cool!
